Great Taste Awards - We win 2! -

30/08/2005

These awards are so prestigious we were nervous that the blind-tasting judges wouldn't "get" Firefly... But we needn't have panicked - we romped home with two awards.

The Great Taste Awards are run by the Guild of Fine Food Retailers, and are the most prestigious taste awards around... (their website's below).

We were in the "other flavoured drinks" category (the drinks categories are "pure fruit juice", "cordials" and "other"), and we won a Silver for Wake up and a Bronze for Self Defence.

Congratulations to Cairn O’ Mohr Country Wines Ltd, who won a gold for their Elderflower drink; Hill Farm, who won gold for their Apple juice with Elderflower; and Chegworth Valley, who also won fold for their Apple and Elderflower juice. The other winners included Bundaberg, who won 2 bronzes, Luscombe Organic, who won a silver, and Original Drinks Company, who won a silver and a bronze, like us.
