Agave nectar is a natural, organic sweet nectar, naturally extracted from the inner core of the Blue Weber Agave (a cactus-like plant native to Mexico that's used in the finest Tequila).
Agave Nectar is primarily fructose and has a low Glycaemic Index, so it's absorbed more slowly into the bloodstream than table sugar is.
It's also sweeter than sugar so you need less.

We source all our Agave nectar from an organic farm in Mexico, where the 'gourds' are still harvested by hand, and taken to the pressing plant by mules. It's a far cry from the sugar industry...
