Those good Japanese people call Firefly "The Herbal drink that tastes good, looks good and is good for you." Couldn't have put it better in English...

Thanks to Melanie and Gentaro for this translation:

Firefly is the new ‘hit’ drink in the UK at the moment. There are no artificial colours, preservatives or sweeteners used in this new and very popular drink. It is, in fact, a herbal drink.

Marcus Waley-Cohen and Harry Briggs set about making their own drinks after listening to their colleagues and friends complaining as to how much sugar was used in most drinks and also how they didn’t taste that great anyway. Marcus and Harry were very keen to make a drink that was actually good for you.

They approached a highly regarded herbalist – the brief was simple – no sugar, no added anything, just the pure goodness found in fruit, a pure drink.

There are four varieties in total – one is ‘Wake Up’ which has peach and green tea as it’s base together with rosemary (designed to clear your head) and ginseng Self-Defence sees Echinacea and acerola added to the wild orange base and this is sure to keep your resistance high.

One particularly popular flavour is ‘De Tox’ which is a lemon and lime juice with ginger. This drink has a sharp edge and you can tell it will help to remove toxins from your body. It is said to be very good for hangovers too!

It is no wonder that these drinks are the toast of London – they are great tasting healthy drinks in well-designed bottles. They are selling well in retail outlets and department stores in the UK such as Harvey Nichols – in fact, sales of Firefly are second only to Coke and Evian.

You will love the taste of ‘Firefly’ - I urge readers to buy a bottle and have a try when they are released in Japan in the near future.
